Created for the Scrap a Donkey challenge. Market day in Lalibela, Ethiopia draws all of the villagers together. In Ethiopia donkeys are a crucial part of daily life. Without donkeys the locals could not carry their heavy loads of goods to market and home. This picture was taken at the market in Lalibela, Ethiopia in October 2007.
