About this scrapbook page: |
Just a few pic of mine and Hollie's holiday in the Peak District. The tiny village of BRETTON consists of a few cottages and a pub and is 380 metres above sea level. Superb views and lovely walks. The ponies are rescues and belong to the owner of where I stayed FOOLOW - A tiny village 1 mile away. Just a church, a few cottages, a duck pond and a pub.

Created with Scrapbook Flair software. Continued:- EYAM - a larger village 3 mile away with a morbid past. In 1665 to 1667 most of the villagers died horribly from the Black Plague. Bought into the village in a bag of rags sent from London. Love the old stocks though LOL. CHATSWORTH HOUSE - Owned and lived in by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Superbly beautiful gardens. Even Hollie loved it. Me and Hollie had a lovely time. The weather was very kind and we walked our socks off LOL xxxxxx
