Journaling reads: In June, we went down to Phil and Nancy’s to celebrate Henri’s 91st birthday. We spent most of our time outside, because the weather was so gorgeous. I was amazed at the outdoor living space they have created and especially the gardens. In addition to all of the flowers and potted plants, they had a little orchard of miniature fruit trees! I hope to someday create a space, I would call more of a sanctuary, that is as beautiful as Nancy’s Garden.
