She passed away 12/16/12 at 1:30AM at the age of 90. She was more than my step-mother, she was my other mother, friend and confidant. She lived in Wyoming, where I grew up, and I lived in Oklahoma. During the 40 years I knew her, I visited her over 20 times with the children and/or husband. My heart is still breaking when I think of her, but she is at peace and with our Lord and Savior.

She was lucky to be able to live in an assisted living center rather than a nursing home. She did NOT want to live long enough to go completely blind nor move to a nursing home, and she got her wish for had she recovered from pneumonia she would have lived the rest of her days in a nursing home.)
