The family name was really Holley but they left out the e when he first started his recording contract so they left it that way.

Fantastic Buddy Holley page. I never met him but he was suppose to be my 4th cousin. We only lived about 2 hours away from his home but never went to Lubbock very often back then. His Dad did stop by to visit my Mom for a few minutes once before his death (they were cousins)but thats all I remember....Great page you created.
