I have a new challenge coming up - about cutting text from a photo. I've put together this tutorial for those that have PSE - I'm sure it can be adapted for other programmes that have layers. The important thing is to save it as a GIF. Sorry the little diagrams aren't very clear - you will have to enlarge.

Thank You Joce. Don't use PSE, but many other programs have the capabilities tho instructions may vary. I do this in Photofiltre but my method would be way different. Looking forward to your challenge.
