Thomas Hart Benton was an American painter and muralist. Along with Grant Wood and John Steuart Curry, he was at the forefront of the Regionalist art movement. For this challenge you must find/scrap a painting by this famous painter that perhaps not everyone heard of. Did you know he painted the famous fence painting scene from Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". Scrap it as you like. Let's see what you will create.

My third challenge: Geisha: Japanese: geiko, or geigi are traditional Japanese female entertainers who act as hostesses and whose skills include performing various arts such as classical music, dance, games and conversation, mainly to entertain male customers. I'm very fond of Geisha's art and photography. I have a few hanged on my walls at home. Let's see what you could come up by scrapping a Geisha!

My second challenge: Origami, from ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper" (kami changes to gami due to rendaku)) is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. Here in China we make many of these wonderful origamis for special occasions or just to pass the time with our family. I make lots of these for my grandchildren. I enjoy it and it gives me a piece of mind. Let's see your scrapped origami.

The history of "past" sailing ships are fascinating. The art beauty behind each one makes a wonderful uplifting scrapbook! There's lots of historical sailing ships types out there in the form of an art form. For this challenge you must find/scrap a sailing ship art (era 1600, 1700, 1800's). Scrap it as you like, but it must be an "art historical sailing ship!" Let's see what you will create.
