Hometown Hero Challenge
We are excited to host a special Challenge. The goal of this challenge is to honor an amazing Hometown Hero. What makes this challenge unique is that the winners will be picked by Ira Yoffe who is the VP/Creative Director of Parade Magazine. With 73 million readers Parade Magazine is the largest and most well read magazine in the world.
Ira is a world-renowned graphic designer and has been honored with over 300 awards for his creative work by many professional organizations including The Society of Publication Designers, The Art Director’s Club of New York, Graphic Design U.S.A., Communication Arts, Art Direction Magazine, Society of Newspaper Designers and Print Magazine Annual.
Throughout his career Ira has regularly collaborated with world-class artists, designers and photographers such as:Eddie Adams, Milton Glaser, Walter Bernard, Andrew Eccles, Bryan Adams and Timothy White as well as nationally syndicated cartoonists such as Patrick McDonnell, Dan Piraro and Dave Coverly.
1. Title – Must include the phrase 'Our Hometown Hero' as well as the name of your hometown Hero.
2. Journaling – Include at least 1 paragraph to tell your story about why this person is a Hometown Hero.
3. Photo – Include at least 1 photo to of your hometown hero.
4. New page – This must be a new page created for this challenge and uploaded on or after the start of the challenge.
5. 1 Page only per Member
6. Have fun!
The winners will be chosen by Ira Yoffe at the completion of the challenge. There is no voting in this challenge.
