Light a Candle for Peace
No matter what your faith or religion is, or even if you don't believe in God, I enjoin you to light a candle for PEACE - whether it be for your own inner peace or for world peace. Say a prayer OR make a wish for Peace. I'm making this a voting challenge for greater fun but winning is a bonus - it's making a sincere scrap from the heart that matters. Voting starts only on the last days of the challenge. I encourage everyone to post their entries before the voting begins. I've restricted voting to challenge members only BUT anyone can register just to vote. The idea is for everyone to be visibly active participants and supporters of this cause. Voting for at least SEVEN (7) scraps is a must if you join - see challenge requirements, please.
Challenge Requirements:
1. Show, at least, one candle in your scrap.
2. You can show anything else aside from the candle/candles EXCEPT people - no people can be shown in the scrap.
3. If you posted an entry, or even if you just registered to vote, you're required to vote on, at least, SEVEN (7) of what you think to be the best scraps in this challenge. Of course, no one will know if you follow this rule but it's a rule. :)
4. Please be sincere, post a scrap from your heart, and let's respect one another - no questioning or criticism of anyone's faith or non-faith please.
Journaling is optional but if your journal is in a non-English language, putting the English translation in the Page Description would help us understand better but this is only a request, not a requirement.
I'll make sample scraps but won't enter them in the challenge.
