Old Lamps
Scrap a page about old lamps.
Oil, kerosene, spirit, gas… anything pre-electric, can be a working replica of an old lamp, but not just one of those ornamental ones that burns fragrant oil.
Challenge Requirements:
1. New Pages only...Please enter a page, do not join just to vote.
2. A lamp picture on the page can be your own or one from the Net. No people please!!!!
3. Journalling describing the lamp, its approx age or era used,(eg/ early 1900's, Victorian Era) and what it was used for.
(eg/ desk lamp, table lamp, carriage lamp)
If it is your own lamp maybe you could tell us it's story as well.
The lamp must be pre-electric. It can be a replica
(Auction sites are a good source of information)
no ornamental lamps or fragrant oil burners....eg/Avon etc.
In the event the same member is winning more than one place the page with the lower points will be removed.
