I am a 28 year old, Native American from the North Carolina Cherokee tribe. I have two horses, Sugar and Spanky. Sugar is 10 and her baby Spanky, just turned 2 on January 8th. They are my world. I have no kids, except for my boyfriend's son, who is 18 years old. So, I consider my horses, my children. I love them just the same. I enjoy horseback riding, camping and just hanging out around the barn. There is just something about being around my horses and the barn that sets my spirit free. My world could be crashing down around me and I can be so depressed, until I get out to the barn. Whenever I'm out there and around my horses, all my worries just seem to disappear.
