Good Morning, yes, there are some free softwares, that make scrapbook pages. Paint.Net is one of the most popular. There are a number of people on this site that use it. You can download here:

If you watch for sales and rebates you can pick up Adobe Photoshop Elements for $69.99 and Corel's Paint Shop Pro for $29.99. Both of these softwares are excellent. They also have great photo editing capabilities. Scrapbook Max is a great Scrapbook software but has very little photo editing abilities. Happy Scrapping. Maggie

I use Scrapbook Factory, not expensive at all..All I have to do is export my pages to JPEG and save in my pictures.

If you look around a little bit, you should be able to find Corel's Paint Shop Pro X2. It's a super program. I use it as much as I use Photoshop
Elements.

Right now they are offering it at a reduced rate. If you have a previous version of the software Paint Shop Pro on your computer you can order the upgrade at a more reduced rate. But check what the qualifications of the upgrade are before ordering that one. They explain it all on the site. I don't think you would be sorry with version X2.

I use Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and love it!

I use memory mixer, and love it, it is for PC or Mac, you can order it from QVC for about $40.00, while worth it and you can use downloads from SBF too.

I use PSP XI and I love it. To add a layer in it you just press CNTL + L

Also some people use GIMP which is supposed to be free but Im not familiar with it.

I used Scrapbook Factory Deluxe when I first started and HATED IT!! It slowed my computer down so much!!

I use photoscape and gimp. Both free. And i am very pleased!

Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. These are the most advanced softwares you could use to edit your photos.

Ever try ScrapbookMax!....They just came out with a new software...Make your own elements, etc, not just scrapbook pages anymore...has ribbon text, etc...Loads of goodies!

There's a new program out called Serif Scrapbook Artist which looks great. I've used their other software in the past have been really pleased with it.

I found that this software photocap is very suitable for scapbooking. something similar like scapbook flair but has more flexibility: have some filters, photo enhancement, rotating, mirror and others. Is there anywhere to do to take classes on the digi scrapbooking. I live in Guthrie, Ky. I have tried to learn these programs and seem to be lost. Any suggestions would be great. Feel free to add me as a friends and leave me a message. I am new here, so I have no friends yet, so I am clueless....LOL.

I use Photoshop CS4e and Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. Love Photoshop and am learning how to use PSP.
