Hi,

1. To resize your photos you would open your photo, click on Image at the top and click on Image Size from the drop down menu. Set your dimensions in the pop up box. Make sure you have 300 dpi for your resolution if you wish to print. Usually you will not have pixalization if you downsize....usually that happens when you try to increase your size.

2. Open your picture. In your layers on the right, double click your photo layer. Say OK in the box that pops up. This seperates your photo from the canvas.
Right above this picture layer, on the right, you will see opacity .Click on the little arrow and a slider bar shows up for you to lower the opacity of the photo, to whatever you want. It can then be put on any other background or photo. However since it's on a transparent background, you might want to add the photo to the background first, then lower it's opacity.
3. I'm not sure what you mean by smaller frames around the picture with more than one color?

3. If you want just a thin border around the picture, you do that with your layer styles. If that is what you want let me know. If you just want any type colored frames you just add them as embellishments.
When adding things on a page, in photoshop, you might find it easier to use "Place" rather than cut/paste. Go to File and choose Place. It will automatically resize items and photos to fit on the canvas or background that you've got. Hope this helps. Maggie
