Rae Ann says:
5.If you are using the software to re-upload your page, you can use the following options if you did not create your page with the Scrapbook Flair software. You may have to try a couple of different options to see which option gives your page the best resolution. a.Insert your page as an image b.Insert your page as an embellishment c.Insert your page as a background 6.You can use the share feature to upload the page directly from ScrapbookFlair software. 7.If you are not getting the resolution you want uploading directly from the software, you can export your page as a jpeg and use the upload link on your ScrapbookFlair home page to upload your page. This is not working for all members, so you may need to use the Scrapbook Flair software to re-upload your page.

Rae Ann says:
8.You can open one project in Scrapbook Flair, insert the first image and use the share feature to re-upload the page with the exact name, tags and galleries. Then delete the first image and insert the next image and use the share feature to re-upload the next page. You can continue re-uploading all your pages in the same project rather than creating new projects for each image. 9.If your files are extremely large the resolution may not work in the Scrapbook Flair Software. You may need to reduce the file size before inserting it into the Scrapbook Flair Software.

Thanks, Rae Ann for posting this. I found that uploading with the same name, via the SBF software.....importing my page as a background, then uploading via the Share option. (My pages are always saved in .jpg format so importing as a background was the simplest way for me) Uploading via my home page never worked for me. Giving your page the same name brings up the question "This file already exists, do you want to replace it?" message. This lets me know it will replace the original properly. Thanks again.

Thankyou for letting us know Rae Ann. I reloaded my missing pages exactly as MaggieM described & all worked O.K. This is also how I upload all of my pages now rather than from my home page so hopefully they won't be lost again! Thanks again, Judi

Great advise from Maggie and Judikim - I design and upload all my pages from SBF software and I didn't loose any pages in the crash. So I would advise anyone regardless of what programme they use to save their page as a JPG and then use SBF software to upload it.

Yes, thanks for the great instructions/ help. Only hitch is that you cannot re-uploaded 'Animated' (gif)pages. With SBF software, you can use gif files but SBF soft cannot handle the 'animation effect'. With direct uploading, it will not replace the existing blank page tho I did ensure to duplicate everything, (from title, size etc). Rae Ann, is there any other way/ideas for those of us who created animated pages during Nov/Dec still missing/now made private to recover those pages albeit there is likely only of us affected?

Rae Ann says:
All,
If you have animated page images missing, please send the following to support and we will try to recover your animated image.
1. Upload your original animated image as a new page. 2. Send a link to your original page and a link to your new page to support@scrapbookflair.com.
Support will try to copy your animated image to your original page.
We are not sure how many images needs to be recovered. So, please give support some time to get the images restored.

I`ve been having this problems a few times, but not on my own homepage. I noticed it was only when I was using internet explorer and on homepages of people having music on it. When I use google chrome I don`t have any problem

@ Neeltje: I use google chrome. I just don't know what to do. A lot of good it is doing me with just a blue page. Thank goodness I have saved all of my scraps onto a disk. The only thing I know to do is try and delete my account and then apply for a new one. But I would lose all of my friends. I don't really care about the awards.

I have forwarded your comments onto support to investigate. I can see your home page on internet explorer. Our team has viewed your home page on various browsers including chrome and we can see your home page. So, it may be a memory issue with your computer. Support is checking it out. If you can send support a screen capture, that will help.

Nairflair,
There is usually a button on the keyboard that allows you to capture an image of what is on your screen. Each keyboard is a little different. But a photo will work just as well. Support will try to figure out what is going on.

Ok RaeAnn: It is not my computer. Since I was able to get into my husband's account, that shows it is not on my end. I decided to just forgo all of my awards and start a new page. I was able to do this, but now I can't vote or comment on people's pages. I'm am very upset. I have been a member since 2007. It states I have to verify my email. I have done that, but I have not been sent an email to finish the process. I would sure appreciate your help on this matter. Thank you!
