for the "Something" challenge

I have always loved this song by Depeche Mode, but it means different things to me at different times in my life. My usual take on it is that verbal attacks on the one you love hurt them more than anything... as someone who went through almost 6 years of an abusive marriage, I can tell you that the physical wounds healed long ago, but the destructive words can still ring in my head more than a decade later... rearing their ugly head when I least expect it.
