A simple page to mark the loss of a sweet friend. last year 2 young pheasants escaped from the local shoot and took up residence in our village. They have become quite tame , seen walking around looking for food in local gardens. But yesterday poor Fossie was dead on the road and today Fessie is still standing beside the same spot looking bewildered and lonely and it is so sad to see.
