Created for the "In Memory of a Baby" Challenge
My brother was older than I by 3 years. Having him taken from our family before I got to know him has always saddened me. I also hurt for my Mom because I can't imagine the heartbreak of finding your seemingly healthy nine month old gone.
My own daughter was born on his birthday so I named her Raye after his middle name, Raymond. My daughter's birthday never comes or goes without my Mom mentioning that they shared the day.
