King Otumfuo is not the king of Ghana, that is a republic. he is the 16th king of the Ashanti tribe. He ascended on the golden Stool on 26 april 1999. He is in direct succession of the founder of the great Ashanti empire. He is the youngest of the 5 children of Nana Afua Kobi Serwaa Ampem 2.
King Otumfuo was born on 6th of may 1950.
