your husband is an excellent photographer, ofelia, this is a perfect photo, the defocused background and the soft light on the face dramatizes the pensive mood of a young, sweet woman - what is she thinking of that gives her a monalisa-like smile? the soft dark overlay is also a good enhancement as it wonderfully breaks yet complements the warm browns.
