This page was ispired by my visit to Ellis Island while online. I happened across the passenger log for my son's great-great grandfather and his family. The log is hand written by a member of the ships crew, and the picture shows the ship used for the crossing from Germany to New York City,"Ellis Island". I also noted that the family, 10 of them, carried only 3 pieces of baggage! Amazing!
