Hey,
Where about are you in Turkey? My dad was in the airforce and we lived in Izmir in 1991-1993. There are so many wonderful things to photograph there that would be wonderful to scrapbook.
Have lots of fun.

I am addicted to ScrapBookFlair as well! I enjoy making my own pages as well. I use some of the embellishments that I have gotten on freebies sites but the fun is creating my own layout that is unique. Also, I prefer simpler pages where the photo is still the main focus. You are doing a great job on your pages. I look forward to seeing more from you. I lie awake at night and think about these pages and what photos I am going to use next! Guess there are worse things we can be addicted too! I haven't ordered any printed of my pages yet, have you? I want to get them printed and add to my albums of traditional scrapping.

I think it's great that being on this site challenges you to learn more and push yourself more you know.....if you have a program that you haven't figured out yet you find yourself getting in there and figuring it out not that any of us are pushed in a negative way it's just so encouraging here and because of that it's so much fun

Hey girl! I absolutely love your style. I have been using the scrap fair downloads and wondered what programs people are using to be more original so thanks for the tip I am shopping for digital software anyway. I will look into photoshop. Can you do the glitter on there to?

Pelin, haven't run across you lately and was so excited when I saw your free gifts on Scrapbook Flair. Don't know if you remember me or not, but you answered a few questions for me months ago, and your beautiful work keeps you as one of the "top designers" in my book.

What can I say, you have a keen eye for putting pages together. I haven't seen one page of yours yet that I didn't love. You have a great gift. I've learned so much of this site. But especially from you.

Hi Vianna, thank you for your kind words....
Sounds like you're doing really wonderful pages, sounds interesting, I might try your idea of adding some real stuff to mine some day too...
Glad you liked Turkey, people are indeed friendly here and I too love the music...not sure if Scrapbooking is popular here, maybe in Istanbul, not where I am (Mersin, in the South)...never saw a shop with supplies for conventional scrapping....

Best wishes for you too...
BTW, just saw your first page posted to the site, I love it...very well done!

Like you, I make most of what goes on the pages (patterned tags and embelishments). I like a combination of digital scrapbooking and conventional, so that in the end there is a REAL page you can touch and feel while you look at it. I dont like a lot of bulk, but I like some dimension, so I sew on my pages, use small beads and also use ribbons. Anyway, you're off to a god start - you have "the style" so continue enjoying your hobby and making wonderful albums for your children to treasure one day.
By the way, I visited Turkey in the late 80's - I liked the country, the music and the people. is scrapbooking popular there now?
Best wishes,
Vianna (in Florida, USA)

You sure make me blush Judy...thank you for your kind words....:-)))))
I had been willing to scrap for a long time, so glad I found this site....got me really inspired....wish I could try the non-digital ones too, but we don't have any shops like you have in the US here in Turkey, at least not where I live..LOL...on the other hand , I think digital is less messy anyway....
again...thank you and your friend gagrp both for all your sweet words and encouragement....I honestly was surprised that some like what I do...
you're both making wonderful pages too and I look always forward seeing them too......

Greetings from Turkey,
Pelin

Finally got here to change a few things. No more scrapping in Turkey ,but scrapping in Ohio with my lovely husband David, who I met on this wonderful site, by my side! Although I am not much around here anymore ( that will change again), this is and always will be my favorite site! Happy Scrapping everyone!
