Places to print

There are several options available.

1. One is Costco.com. You can order 12x18, so you set it up to be the 12x12 layout, with two 6x6 layouts at the bottom. The cost for this is $2.99/page and you end up with your large layouts and a gift album or two. Problem: Not all Costcos will print up to this size. If your local Costco does not, you also have the option of having it shipped to you directly for $1.99/S&H. Still a bargain at $5 for 3 layouts (even if two are smaller).

2. There's also www.whcc.com. You can get 12x12s printed for $3.60 each (or less, if you need a quantity). They're a professional photo printer. I understand that they run specials for quantity printing throughout the year. I haven't tried them yet, but I plan to this summer. I've read other people's comments, raving about how much they love them. They ship right to your door in just a few days' time.

3. MPix (www.mpix.com) prints 12x12 pages, but they charge $6.99 for one.

4. Sam's Club will print a 16x20 for $13.99.

5. Photoworks.com is kind of expensive at $10.95 for a 12 x 18, but very reasonable for smaller prints.

6. In Australia, there is only the one company that I am aware of that prints 12x12 and that is Beauphotos. It is an online company www.beauphotos.com.au and 12x12 are $7.50. Postage is a flat rate of $4.50. I personally have not tried their 12x12 format (I've only had a 6x6 album printed out and did that by putting it on a canvas so that it was 6x8 before uploading). I highly recommend their print quality.
I know of others who have used the 12x12 print option and they were very impressed although they lost about .2cm all around in the printing process.

Excited

I ordered some digital scrapbooking cd's and can't wait to get them in. I also ordered some great books off amazon today. (They are military related though)so I am pretty excited and will be watching the mailbox closely...lol

The ^ layouts I made

Well the ^ layouts I posted on 2~17~2007 I made all that same day. They are the first ones I've ever made using digital software and what not. I think they are pretty good and know that as time goes on I will get even more better at doing them. I plan to buy a printer that can print out 12 x 12 sized sheets or smaller and soon be doing mostly digital scrapbooking and all. I'll still buy supplies and make pages here at home and all, but I love the digital because you have soo many options, can rearrange as much as you like until it's just right and so on...lol (Look at me preaching to the choir....lol...) You gals know what I mean. But yeah I am pretty proud of myself and all. One day I plan to open up my own photography studio and want to bring on 2 or 3 of my friends who scrapbook or whoever and offer scrapbooking service in addition to my photography. The 2 or 3 will be the scrapbook design team...Anyway's enough of this....later
