A First Anniversary and a First of Another Kind - (Scrap Kit Coming Soon...)

Well Friends -
Today is My Love's and My 1st Wedding Anniversary...Smiles...
The Downside...My DH's Vacation Ends Today and He Must Return to Work. Sigh... We Have Had a Very Enjoyable 9 Days Together, Even Though the Weather Seldom Co-Operated With Our Plans. Of Course, We Consider Ourselves Life Long Partners, Given the 1st Love, Junior High Sweethearts Aspect. Smiles...

The Other 1st I Hinted At??? I Am Working on a KIT - Yes, a Digital Scrap Kit. This is Going to Be a Bit Different From Much of What is in the Shops (Very Realistic Elements!)- I Hope to Unveil a Preview Very Soon, and Then Set Up a Store on My Site... WooHoo! I'm Certain There Will Be a Freebie or Two Here and There Also. I Actually Tried to Share One Through the Gallery, but it Would Not Accept a PNG Image. If Anyone Reads This, and Would Like Me to Send Them My Very 1st Sweet Little Creation, Just Add a Note With Your Email Addie and I'll Send it to You!

500 GIGS! Wide Open Spaces -

Well Friends - It Happened in Such a Short Period of Time That I Barely Saw it Coming...Smiles...

My 120 GIG External Hard Drive Would Not Hold One More Iota...Not One More Tiny Graphic! It Was in Absolute Desperation That We Headed to Best Buy Yesterday - More So On My Part...Panic Was Setting In. What Would I Do When All of the Newest Freebies Arrived in My Mail Box? What Would I Do When Nayyan's New Kit,Chocolate, Hit the Store? (It Already Has - Unzipping as I Type...)

Fortunately, BB Was Having a Sale, but 500 GIGS Was Still a Chunk of Change. My Love Looked at Me and Asked, "Now This is Enough to Last the Rest of Our Lifetime, Right?" I Nodded, but it Was With Some Hesitation. After All, I Still Had 1/2 of My Available Space Remaining on the 120 When I Discovered DS Just a Month and a Half Ago!

I Have Been Transferring Files Ever Since - Trying to Think of the Most Logical Way to Divvie Everything Up. I Am Going to Try to Reserve the New Drive For Nothing But Scrapbooking Kits, Elements, Papers, Graphics, etc. I Am Doing my Best to Organize as I Go - A Folder For Every Designer I Have Collected So Far - This May Take Years...OH MY!!!

I Am Anxious to Get Started On My Next Layouts - Both For Friends, and Our Own. I Have Literally Thousands & Thousands of Pictures That Deserve a Special Page -

Dad Nabber and Shucky Darns

Well, Somehow I Managed to Create Two Separate Identical Blogs, and Do Not Have a Clue How to Delete One of Them???

This is What I Get For Staying Awake As the New & Improved (?)Daylight Savings Time Becomes a Reality. Not That I Will Mind the Additional Daylight Hours, But I Am Adverse to Change, and Not Just Because I'm Getting Older. I Didn't Like it When I Was Young Either. Smiles...

Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...For Some New Kits to Download. Lara Payton This Time. My Poor Computer - In the Month and a Half Since I Discovered Digital Scrapping, I Have Filled Nearly Every Nook & Cranny! I Have an Additional External Hard Drive Also, if That Tells You Anything. I Am a Compulsive Downloader! I Have Been Addicted to Graphics For a Good Long Time, but I Am Beyond Help Now!

After I Am Finished Downloading These Lovelies, I Am Officially Grounding Myself From Any More Kits For a Good Long Time. Well, Aside From Those I Will Be Receiving From Kathryn Balint For Becoming a Member of Her Personal Creative Team! YIPPEE! Just Found Out Today!!!

I Considered Saving Some of My Kits to Disc, But I Think They Would Be Just as Difficult to Locate as They Are Now, and There is a Risk of Losing the Data, Which I Don't Want to Do. Backup is One Thing, But Fumbling Around Trying to Find the Right Disc Every Time I Want to Use it Just Isn't For Me. Is There a Solution? I Have Hundreds of Folders, and Folders Within Folders... OH MY! I Must Give This More Thought... Any Suggestions?

Well, This is Enough Rambling For Now...It is 5 a.m. and I Haven't Been to Bed Yet. Since I Quit Smoking on February 1st, Sleep Has Been a Real Problem For Me. I Threw Myself Heart & Soul Into Scrapping and it Has Been My Salvation as Far as Kicking the Habit Goes, but Sleep...Sleep Eludes Me...
