MONTAIGNE: "He who is not sure of his memory should not undertake the trade of lying".

This is my thought for the day, and pretty much my rule to live by. Sometimes you think you know someone and bam it hits you like a freight train, you didn’t really see them for who they were at all. I will just say I have not a thing to hide and nothing to lie about. And in this day and age every body makes their life an open book. I mean c’mon if you’re stupid enough to post your personal life all over the internet. Then you choose to lie about it, then you can for damn sure count on it coming back and haunting you because it will. I try to never point out facts unless I am 100% sure or I have something to back me up. So if you want to go ahead and argue about something I may have said, go ahead I will bring the proof to the table!! What’s that saying “People in glass houses should not throw stones”.

Ok I am done with that rant. The house selling/hunting is going great. We have the best mortgage guy and realtor ever. Donna is coming this afternoon to go through the house, and give me any last minute tips. It helps that we have just redone Maddie and Laurens room, I just repainted the kitchen and Jared is updating the bathroom upstairs. We thought we had our mind set on a house, since, we have found 20 more beautiful homes. We are looking for atleast 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, nice size kitchen only because mine is HUGE now and I have every nook and cranny full, 2-car garage. So its not like we want something there isn’t plenty of. Jared said he will make our bedroom, something out of extreme makeover, so woohoooo!!! I am just so excited everything is coming together. Life couldn’t be better!!

It must be love.........

This last week has been anything but dull. As I mentioned before we are getting ready to list the condo. So Tuesday I decided to do some much needed paint touch up and cleaning. So I get it all done and I am excited, then that evening I go to use the garbage disposal and dead as doorknob. Great!!!!! Jared said hold off he will look at it when he gets home needless to say, Wednesday it was still dead. So my very loving husband goes up to Lowes and replaces it Woohoo it’s fixed!!!!! Nope Sunday, I am cleaning some more and low and behold I hear water leaking I look under the sink and water is squirting everywhere. He comes home looks at it, reaches for it and the whole thing falls apart in his hand. Did I mention in less then an hour from this we are suppose to be going to look at houses. I probably also didn’t mention that if I had not dumped gooey paint down the sink this wouldn’t have happened in the first place. So knowing this is probably my fault and feeling terrible sometime in there I told Jared that I would take care of it since it was probably my fault, he said what would make you think that, I tell him the gooey paint story and god love him he just starts laughing hysterically and says “ Its ok honey it was probably time for a new one” It must be love!!!
So the condo is going up in the next week hopefully, and the house we are looking at is *8* miles from my work, why does that excite me? Because I drive 40 now each way UGGGHHH!!
Other then that we have had a stray cat adopt us. Her name is “Stripes~Boots with the Fur” Don’t ask!! Jared built her a little house on the back porch and we have a little heater thing you pop in the microwave. Zoey and her sit and stare through the window at eachother, they are so cute.

Good News!

Well ok, it’s only alright news. Remember the Van, yes the one I write about often that sucks, well lets just say the dealership and I had a little disagreement about the condition of the van in which it was sold to us, again probably why the van sucks so much in the first place. Well after spending 8 exhausting hours in depositions last week, with the owner of the dealership, and his prick of an attorney, who in my opinion after some of the remarks he made to me, that completely didn’t have anything to do with anything, I should sue his ass next.
Actual questions the prick thought were appropriate to ask
1. You can read and speak English correct? Needless to say my attorney objected, but my thought – No stupid!! I have just sat in this room with you for the last 6 hours, thus speaking to everyone in the room, in perfect English, at what point didn’t you catch that?
2. Your husband drives a Corvette correct, is that how he picked you up? Ofcourse the question was also objected to. But my thought Yes you fat balding pig, my husband did drive a Corvette, but if we’re making assumptions here, I guess its fair to assume by looking at you, your wife picked you up grazing at the buffet.
Needless to say my attorney called the next day and said that the way this idiot was acting was straight out of an episode of Law & Order, swinging his arms, yelling and just over all being a huge jerk. I got to guess that atleast they think they did something wrong since they offered a settlement!
Oh well atleast it’s over. Now Jared and I can focus on getting the condo ready to sell.

Nothing!!

Well I worked for 4 hours today, since Dr. Case is out for the big game. I tried my best to convince him to try to pull it off as a dental convention, but no such luck. Oh well we're all looking forward to Hawaii in 09.
Other then that nothing exciting to report after the holidays, other then one of my Christmas trees are still up, now I am the type that will take it down the day after Christmas, if not the day of. I actually did take the one upstairs down, only because I was exhausted from chasing the bulbs, and little Miss Princess Zoey. Madison even found a bulb in her bed. You would have sworn that I put that tree up for her entertainment.
New Years was great, we had the girls, my sister, and the parents came down. The Dads had soooo much fun playing Wii, Jared and I are just trying to figure out who is going to get theirs first. My mom was even down there Wii'ing. And all have mentioned going out to buy one. What goofballs!
Jared went to his first Swap Meet with my father Sunday, he had so much fun. And he got a few things for his car. So with what he got from Christmas, what we ordered and what he picked up at the swap meet. I think he has pretty much what he needs, it just needs to be painted. He said he wants it ready for the Mum Festival Car Show, HELLO that’s Sept. I bet it will be done end of spring if not before.

This is my first blog. I am a mother of 3 girls, 2 of my own and one-step daughter. I have a wonderful husband named Jared. I work full time as a Business Manager for a dental office. So between, work, taking care of the girls, the cat and my husband I find sometime in there to scrapbook.
