Another day

I spent so much time on this site yesterday, compiling new scrapbooks. I still have heaps to do and I hope to get some of my Cross stitch designs up today.

I need to get some work done too. I am currently working on 2 new bears and my grandaughters cross stitch birth sampler. Oh and I cut out a quilt yesterday. I must start sewing it. I am not good at patchwork and this one is very basic, but, I am pleased with what I have cut out so far. I won the material in a quilting magazine competition late last year and I am looking forward to making it into a quilt.

First post :0)

I am actually in a bit of a rush, but, just wanted to check in and say hi.

My name is Cathie and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I am 44 years old and I love to create.

My passions are designing and making one of a kind artist teddy bears and creating Cross stitch embroider patterns.

My website is katiescraftworks.com and I sell most of my work on Ebay.

I have relapsing/remitting Multiple Sclerosis and I am currently in remission, for which I am very grateful.

Last year was not a good health year and I had paralysis as well as blindness in one eye and other health issues for most of last year.

I still do not have all my vision back in my right eye, but, I have 'most' of it back and I can do my creative work again and for that I am grateful.

I look forward to keeping this blog up to date and adding heaps of photos in scrap books.
