for me, so far, there are five really outstanding scraps in this challenge - they are all so good that i haven't really decided on the challenge owner's choice yet.
Candidates for Final Challenge Owner's Choices (in no particular order):
1. Numero Tres Fantasy by KPODDREAM featuring the Chimera, 3-headed monster- the layout and positioning of embellishments lend balance to the inherently imbalanced image - despite the very dominant wings, visual focus is immediately on the chimera's faces. i also like the chimera image featured - quite unusual.
2. Numero Tres Fantasy Scrap by OFELIA ROCA featuring the Three Musketeers - a delightful image made even more so with the beautiful extraction and blending of some sbf friends' faces. the imbalance created by the position of the swords is corrected by the slight tilt-up of the image. paper and embellishments used so fit the image.
3.The 3 Graces in Greek Mythology by SNUG - brilliant use of scrolls and clever introduction of the color green which - by clever repetition and positioning of green elements -- is successfully made the dominant color of the page even when there is no green in the image. the use of floral embellishments go with the feminine, playful image, and layout is done perfectly so visual focus is on the image despite the very large scroll at the top.
4. The three Wise Kings visiting the Holy Family by MOMYKITTY - look at how the color, type and texture of the background, frame and wordart harmonize with and emphasize the beautiful, unusual and colorful images of the 3 kings and holy family. fine taste and fine art!
5. Challenge: Numero Tres by TULIP_DESIGNS featuring the heaven-earth-hell triad - Layout is cleverly done as though one is making a leisurely study of hell and heaven on earth, right from one's desk. replete with notepad, pen and tea embellishments. visual focus is on emmerson's quote and everything else just seems to support this.
my final challenge owner's choice will be displayed at the end of the challenge. in the past i had chosen my final favorite from the non-winners so we'd have more winners, but this time it could be one of the winners.
