Author gypsykate says: i'd like to thank all of you for joining this challenge, i do value each and every scrap entered and will treasure them forever but as i said i wanted to make the coc what miki would have chosen. a dream i had last night when i had an extremely high fever and his words in the past led me to believe that he would have chosen snug's "words by miki." when miki made the gypsyqueen challenge for me, i had violent objections both to his having a challenge for me and the fact that he called me gypsyqueen. we had a lot of discussions about it but always he'd say whenever someone posted a scrap - "see how much you are loved katarina, if this challenge doesn't show you then someday you will know just how much you are loved, not just by me but many...if i'm not here, turn to those who love you." i didn't think the time would come when he won't be here but now i do see and feel loved, i didn't feel this as strongly before, and that's something that miki would want me to remember forever. since he died, i've slept with the gypsyqueen album he gave me. in my dream last night, he gave it to me again as he rocked me in his arms. and that's why i made snug's scrap the COC. but again, thank you to all of you, from the bottom of my heart.
