i still see a page or two that aren't quite done correctly but they are still good - do all the pages have to conform to the exact style suggested or are other variances accepted? i just thought i would ask before voting on them because ive seen one that does not have the photo 'dripping' down into the word (or however i should explain that lol), but instead has the word on top of the photo which isnt quite the same. just checking :) thanks!

There is more than a page or two that doesnt meet requirements so I did not vote on the ones that did not conform. And some of these are getting the most votes..

I agree with youkezcreates and AliceD. There are several with high challenge points that didn't comply with the requirements. If I'm unable to meet the requirements with my design I don't post a page.

Shortly after the Challenge began, the Challenge Owner did send a message to participants to indicate which pages had complied with the requirements. So, word frames with the "word(s)" on top were acceptable and I'm just assuming those with the
word(s) vertical were okay, too.

I, too, see pages that don't comply with the Challenge requirements and feel it's not fair to those of us that have complied. I just hope the Challenge Owner will resolve it, if it's not too late already.

The last I heard about the challenge owner was that she had a problem with her hand and couldnt get on the computer. I hope she is getting better and can take charge of this again..

By the way, it shouldnt matter if the word is on top bottom or side or all four as long as it is a part of the picture and not an addition to the picture. The picture should actually be flowing into the word.

Don't worry my friends ! I will be checking once in a while the layouts but right now I'm on vacation in South of France for one more week. So I understand that it's unfair for those who did worked hard to manage to make it when some are just not doing it the right way. I have send a message to all of the participant saying that I will remove before the end layouts that are not made with the requirement.
My finger is still in a bad shape, I cant fold my index at all. So most of the time I have this bandage to keep me away from nocking it on something. Thanks for your care Alice ! Hugs from the sunny Riviera !

Additional Word: Where should the word be? On top bottom at the side on the page? How much of the photo should be included in the word? I think this is a matter of interpretaiton . iIf SN does not see my wofd fit for the challenge, then she may remove it.

It's just a question of technique. No matter where you put the word in must be done with the frame or the picture and not a additional alpha. It's not easy to explain but look at all the layouts, you will see that everyone has used the background or the picture !
