Challenge guidelines

Just want to clarify the challenge requirements. My apologies for not making them clear. Basically I want a finished pic that looks 'real'. This means the environment must be real & your extraction looks perfectly at home in this environment. If your environment contains a fantasy object or beings then we can see straight away that this is not a real pic. I want to be able to look at your finished pic then look at the 2nd page & go wow I thought that pic was real. Because a lot of pages these days are like paintings (Which are totally amazing) I decided to ask you to scrap your photo using kits etc. This will add to the 'reality' of your finished pic. Please check out my icon sample as a guideline.
I am also running another extraction challenge, which will commence on Sunday 22 November, where basically anything goes. So if your page doesn't fit the 'real' test then please remove it & repost in the new challenge.

I am so sorry for the confusion & I feel bad for not explaining my requirements better.

Thank you for your understanding

Cheers Mary

No problems Mary - I think they were stated fairly. You did say it had to be scrapped and you did say it had to look real - all straight forward I would imagine. I was just a bit concerned about the use of the word 'person' but you clarified that. I've had so much fun doing the pages will have to try the fantasy one too. 'Thank you also for keeping your challenges short - love it.

Mmm effects is a bit of a grey area Stacey. I wanted your finished photo to look like a photo that had not been altered then scrap as you would any other photo using kits etc. As long as the finished pic looks authentic that's the main thing.

Just looked through the challenge pages again & I have sent a few more emails re pages not meeting challenge requirements. The page I'm really stuck on relates to your query re effects Stacey. Monika13 has done a wonderful job on extraction & placing them in a new scene. She has scrapped it beautifully too. The only thing is she has turned it into a sketch. But the finished result looks real so I am inclined to let this one slip through. Any thoughts on this one would be appreciated!

I want to be fair to everybody & a lot of you have taken the time to re do your pages so please let me know if I should ask Monika13 to remove page. Thanks Mary
