Just wanted to thank you all for participating in the challenge and I wanted to give you a lil reason of why I did this challenge. February of 2009, we lost my mom to a heart attack, and while I still honor her memory on this and other days, it's just not the same. Now this year, my fiancé, Bryant, has a 3 yr old son named Alex, and we've really truly bonded like a mother and son would. This Mother's Day was the first where I felt included in that long list of Proud Mothers :) So, there's a few people who make my Mother's Day special now, well more special.. And I still honor my Momma, and I can look back and see just how much like her I really am as I grow closer with my son. And That, is what make's my Mother's Day so very special :) Thank you again for joining the challenge.

What a lovely story! I guess we all have a reason why we made a page for those who made mothersday special. My daughter and her children live in the Us and my son has passed away. My stepchildren all live in Ghana. So without those women who organise the mothersday event there would not have been a mothersday for me at all.
Hugs to all

I take care of my niece full time. I don't have children of my own, but she has lived in the same household since she was born. She lost her mom when she was 3, and in 2008 came to live with me alone due to some family issues. I lost both my dad and mom in 2008. So pretty much mothers day and fathers day can be very sad time for me. When Mackenzie has started school it is sorta hard on her too at Mothers day time since her mother has passed way. It is a wonderful thing to be able to receive an item she makes during this time. She is a lovely girl who makes my life better for having her.

thank you for this challenge otherwise i would not have made this page =)
