Need to Know about Scrapbook Software for Apple
I am considering buying an Apple computer but I am not sure what scrapbooking software works with it. I currently use, and love, Serif's Scrapbook Artist, but it is not Mac compatible. I tried to learn Photoshop Elements, but found it difficult. Does anyone use any other programs that they like that are Mac compatible? Thanks, Linda

Hi Linda,

I have just started using PSE9 and have not used this before but am persevering. I also downloaded a user manual from Diplodocs.com for PSE and reading items as I go along will assist. I am a novice at scrapping and am enjoying using PSE. What I am trying to say is don't give up. I am sure you will get lots of enjoyment from it as you slowly learn more. I don't know what most of it means but I am getting there. Happy scrapping, Krazeekow

I use photoshop too (CS2). It is quite a steep learning curve but I am sure you will never regret the time spent getting into it. Persevere I am sure you will find it is worth it. Lesley

I also have a Mac and I use Memory Mixer, you can use it on either a Mac or a PC. I love Memory Mixer, it is really easy to use and has lots of embellishments. My sister uses it also. I just made a scrapbook for my best girlfriend for her 60th. If you decide to get it and need some help or some tips be sure and let me know! Have fun!

Not sure if this is a little late of a response, but I use MyMemories V3 on my MAC, I also use Photoshop CS5 (but only with templates). I really like MyMemories, you do not need to buy kits from their website as outside content you download will work in the program. Hope this helps.

Thank you all. I purchased another PC last year ... but at some point I might convert to Apple (just got an Iphone. I am still using Serif Craft Artist, which I love. But I still am interested in keeping track of MAC products. So feel free to keep updating and thank you so much.

This is a really late response (lol) I'm a Mac user and I have a virtual PC which I use almost exclusively for scrapping. The software I have is called VMware Fusion but I'm sure there are others out there. I love Craft Artist too! :)

Michelle, thanks for your respone. I think a vitural pc means you are running it on a MAC? If yes, how does that work for you? I thought about it, but was afraid it would be slow or have isues. Do you run Craft Artist on it? Thanks for any response you may give.
