Alienware Computer Troubles
We just purchased an Alienware Computer three months ago and the mouse will freeze up, and every so often the computer will start a whirring noise and freeze up, although not completely - you can't use the mouse, but things like downloads will still keep coming in...apparently it's not the mouse...has anyone had any problems...the company has suggested downloading different drivers, which my husband has done...unfortunately we purchased online and it means packing and shipping the CP off...if anyone has run across a similar problem or has any suggestions that might help, I would appreciate it so much! Thanks Fran

Fran I'll ask my hubby and my son. My son is a tech but don't know if he's ever worked with Alienware. That name would have scared me too. I'll try to get some info tomorrow.I'll look into wigs too.

Pat - you are so funny - I had to read all through the messages to find out the meaning of your reference to wigs.

Lesley, wish my family thought I was funny. They just think I'm strange. Went in for my physical on Tues. The Dr. wants me to see a neurologist for my memory loss. It didn't help that I was wearing two different shoes. It could happen to anyone! Right?

Back to Fran's problem. My hubby suggests that you try a different mouse. If you have a cordless try one with a cord. If not just try a different one. I don't think mice are too expensive. We have plenty running around our garage. If you get desperate I'll fast freeze one and send it to you. Haven't talked to my son, the tech. yet.
