Does anyone use or know if this software will work on Windows 7? I may have to buy a new laptop, since mine is going on 7 years old. And I'm going to try and get one with 7 on it, I have heard too much negative about the new Windows 8. I have Vista on my laptop, love it. And I so hate to have to give up Digital Image, which was a Microsoft product, which they discontinued the software, so no updates. It's a great software. I have recently purchased Craft Artist Professional 2, but still learning to use it. I would appreciate any help on this if anyone has any answers. Thanks so much, Charlotte

		Grandma M says: Charlotte - its highly unlikely you will get a new lap top with windows 7 now as they all have windows 8. I had a new lap top about 6 weeks ago and had no choice in the matter. Windows 8 is very different but you do get used to it eventually. can't help with the DIS10 though. Oct 27, 2013

I used to have MS Digital Image years ago (I won it) but when I changed to Windows Vista it wouldn't transfer so I had to give it up. I don't think you will have any luck. Oct 28, 2013

		MaggieM says: Win 8 is not the big ogre that some tout it to be, it's actually a good Operating system, and it's true, you will have trouble buying a new computer with anything but 8, unless you pay to have it customized. Bottome line is I know Digital Image Suite 10 will install and work on Windows 7, but not sure about Windows 8. One way to find out is to send Microsoft support an email and ask. I may go down this week and check on this. I think I would not have as many problems with 7 and it would work more like wha I am used to. I am still using Vista. My laptop is going on 7 years old.
