Just took 40 seconds to post this comment and another 20 to open the thread. I haven't got time to keep going. I want to post a page but not at these speeds.

I'm having the same problem, it was very slow earlier today - either an error message or a minute or more for a page load.

I thought it might be our internet at work, but it's very slow now I'm home and we have a super high speed connection at the house.

It's going a lot faster now than it was earlier.

Hi Jayne. just home and tried again and it seems to have speeded up - good to hear it wasn't just me and my computer.

I noticed that this kind of started yesterday morning but it got much worse today. Support was aware of it this morning and it has/had something to do with the server so they were working on it all day. I see that it is much much faster now.

So the response-time slowness we all experienced in the last 48 hours (Feb 11-12) has to do with our upgrading our server software... one of those maintenance things that you know you need to do, but can't always predict what impact it will have until you do it. Long story short: we fixed the problem. Please bear with us with the occasional site slowness - we're doing better at identifying & fixing issues as they arise.

That said, things should be going smoother this year as our technical team has really upgraded everything - which means better reliability and everything that worked previously should be back online soon.

Yes got an email as well - back to normal now - thank you support.

I have also received an email for the first time in many months but I've struck another problem. Twice now the page I've posted has reverted to private viewing only, the first time I thought it must have been my mistake even though I was sure I'd made it Public.
This time 2 comments were left which to me means it was an open page for a few minutes before it switched.

When I first went to log in today (Saturday) close to noon time Arizona time it was a little slow running and I was getting frustrated so I waited a little while to make a couple of comments but then had to get going.

I finished up the comments this evening (Saturday) and when I first began there was a small delay to get to the front page but then things speeded up. Steve (ScrapDaddy) sent me an e-mail that he noticed it was as slow for him also.

Banda... sorry to hear about the viewing problems with trying to upload a page but then it did... or not. I hope support sees this but I will send them an e-mail to let them know to look at your description of the problem that you ran into. Thank you for letting us know!

Yes it takes forever to do comments ,post pages and everything

I was experiencing the same thing yesterday afternoon (Friday February 28, 2020) and evening for the brief period of time that I was able to make comments or check out things.

I wrote to support via e-mail and messaging them through this site but have not heard anything back.

RE THE FRACTALS CHALLENGE
Something was a bit screwy with the results
while I was sending out the results they changed an I had to correct it. then I could not find my COC - Banda's page, hence I wrote a note in the comments section below the challenge. now it looks okay.but I am assuming it has to do with the servers???

jUST DOUBLE CHECKED, and Beryls page says COC on the challenge, but not on her homepage gallery?? Support please make sure her page in her gallery has the COC on it.

I see that the site is running very slow some of these days around March 5, 2020. Just met with support a couple days ago & it might be with support working on the site. Joce mentioned it to me around this time too.

I know this can be very frustrating for either commenting or uploading pages so please report this under the SBF Support Desk if you are having problems with the speed or anything else.

Still having trouble with the speed, it's faster than yesterday and I was able to upload my page but it's still slow

Just popped in to check - wasn't going to sign in but I read this thread and just to say the site is very fast today - I got from one page to the next with no trouble. Not loading any pages though so can't comment on that. Hope it lasts.
