About this scrapbook page: |
Just a SAMPLE PAGE for the PROVERBS & IDIOMS challenge I'm hosting - will be removed from challenge before it ends. I opted to put the original Filipino proverb as it's very rhythmical. I hope you join the challenge, you can also put proverbs or idioms in your native tongue as long as you put the English translation and the meaning. Also please give credits to artists and designers.

My siblings and I have learned to heed this proverb in our childhood in the roller coaster life we had with our dad. In general, it also attests to the flexibility and resiliency of most Filipinos... Main image of woman is a painting called "Sleeping with Sunflowers" by Nicola Slattery. Baby is from a painting called "Fran Sleeping" by Hanneke van Oosterhout. Layout and layer effects (drop shadows & watercolor effects) - Photoshop CS3.
