About this scrapbook page: |
This is a page about the Roman Ruins at Salamis, in Cyprus. John was serving there in H M Forces, and in February 1965 I moved there to join him.Over the next two years or so we were to visit these ruins several times. As the picture on the right clearly demonstrates, I was not wearing the most sensible outfit for such a trip on our first visit! On our last visit we had our baby son with us. The picture at the top left, is a close up of the beautiful mosaic ceiling, which I found so fascinating.
