captain knagaroo ran for 30 years...the longest running kids program in us tv history. he, along with mr green jeans, mr moose, and of course bunny rabit ruled those balck and white tv air waves.

OK so I DO remember watching Captain Kangaroo!! I even participated in his portion of the Thanksgiving Parade one year in Chicago!!!! OMG Memories. Great page!

such fond memories of this show from the capt'n to Mr Green jeans to moose and those ping pong balls I lucked up and found an old VHS tape forsale just to show my boys (4 and 8) what we had and LOVED
