For the Stupid Statements by Famous People challenge... (members only vote)
Canada's former prime minister was rather colorful with his wording at times... I've seen the video clip of this particular whopper and slapped my forehead with the big "L" along with everyone else...

lol it's a bit of a strange system here, not sure if Oz is like that lol but they kinda stay in until they croak ;) We don't have set election years like the US, and we don't vote for the PM, we vote for the party reps in our own towns so whoever gets the most 'seats' across the country wins. I don't vote Liberal, so it wasn't my fault this guy got in HAHA!
