A variation on a theme - this is a 'thank you' card to our wonderful vet, Craig. Having to put animals to sleep must be the worst part of their job, I think, and I felt we should show our appreciation of his care for Selene since September 2009.

Karen, yes, putting our patients to sleep is the worst part of the job, most especially when someone's taken stellar care of their animal and also, believe it or not, when someone's taken awful care of their animal. The former because we know the client and patient so well, and we know how hard the client's tried. The latter because THAT client did nothing and, therefore, the animal suffered.
