Had to take my beautiful 4 year old Golden Fantail goldfish out of the tank today as he wasn't at all well. Jiffy is a 4 year old Black Moor whos now half golden!!!!! and my new fish is another Black Moor, 18 months old and his name is Jaffa.

Oh so sorry you lost poor little Butterfly Madeline, I know how attached you are to them. Jaffa looks a beauty and will be a lovely companion for Jiffy who would have pined for Butterfly. I'm so sorry for your loss Madeline. They are such beautiful little creatures. Took care of my grandson's fish while they were on vacation. One day I found one floating on top. Went into a panic. Grabbed a small bowl with clean water. Scooped fish into it. Still no movement. Took a spoon and gently rubbed it's side with the tip. It started to quiver and then took off like a maniac swimming around
