Continuing with my cancer journey. 4 weeks after surgery.
I won't be seeing the endocrinologist until May. Ugh. The doctor told me I would have to "grin and bear it" (talking about the above symptoms) for probably three months before the medication gets to the correct level. Bigger UGH!!!

I can truly sympathies with you as my daughter is having very similar side effects as you after breast cancer treatment. she had a slight under active thyroid gland before but the chemo has sent it to rock bottom but treatment for it can't start yet. I can pretty much guarantee the constipation and nausea is coming from the calcium supplement as Im supposed to take it for Osteoporosis. xxxxxx

Oh this part of 'life' is not fun. I trust and will pray that you can hold onto a faith that this moment in time will soon be over and your body will adjust to it's new abnormal norm quicker than your doctor has said. Blessings and prayers from your friends from around the world at SBF.

Having to live with any ones of these would be hellish but all combined - a nightmare. I do hope the period of time goes quickly for you and that there is 'a light at the end of the tunnel' Sending good wishes from NZ.

I was not aware of this either. I will keep you in my prayer and hope that you will make a full recovery from this devastating illness. Hope also that your side effects will subside with time. Sending gentle hugs.

I was not aware of your surgery - hope you are slowly starting to feel brighter and the periods of darkness recede. Who would have thought such a little gland could impact so greatly throughout the body (have had an overactive thyroid) - hope you get the symptoms under control and can see small improvements daily.
