I grew up in the 50's and 60's along with Skiffle, Rock and Roll and the Twist. Elvis, Bill Hayley etc. and an odd skiffle guy called Lonnie Donegan!!!!!! So come on Ladies how many of you not only remember it but all the words as well LOL..... Remembered this song today when I was zig zagging with Hollie around the bins that the dustbin men had left all over the paths !!!!!!!

Brilliant page and trip down memory lane Madeline and, yep I too grew up in the same era with the words & music of that fab old song flooding back.A time when the big band sound very gradually gave way to the new age of pop music - we didn't have much money but we had a lot of fun!Love the scene, the old street & street corner characters, the two gossips are a gem those were the days my friend xxx
