I heard this song for the first time about 45 years ago when I was watching a movie about the life of Maximilian of Austria who has been king of Mexico for a short time. It`s not the famous paloma blanca of George Baker but much lesser famous. Our Princess Christina sang it at the funeral of her father Prince Bernhard
