keeping the 4 yr old grandson amused on a rainy day ..we decided to play around with some simple chemistry using household ingredients.. using such things as juice from a red cabbage that had been soaking for a while.and adding lemon juice or bicarbe he was so amazed to see the difference between acids and alkalines and how quickly the colours changed
