This is for Mimi's Recipe Time Is Here - 2018 challenge. I don't know if this is popular in anywhere besides the U.S. but it is a dessert described as a PISTACHIO SALAD or a WATERGATE SALAD THAT I LOVE but w/o any nuts! Thank you for all your C/V as they are most welcome and appreciated!

I don't know why it is made with pistachio pudding mix as it does not taste like pistachios but it's really, really sweet. I mostly use the maraschino cherries for color. I also meant to say to FOLD IN WHIPPED TOPPING (or Cool Whip) in my text.
