Mary Jane had 5 children with Alexander (snr) all born in Toowoomba Qld
Norman was killed in WW1 and Stuart was badly wounded, losing and eye.
He must have been camera shy, I've never found a photo of him.
Mary Jane had 5 sisters and 3 brothers she was born in Brisbane Qld

You are so lucky to have these amazing photos Beryl and love how you have scrapped them. I enlarged for a closer look - for photos that age they are in great condition. I think if there were ever old photos like that of my ancestors they would have been lost when the Germans occupied the Island, they burnt and got rid of anything in their way.
