This photo was taken by my dad before I was born of my
Godfather-to-be...who is on the left of the automobile. They became acquainted in the Polish Infantry and both were captured by the Germans...both were wounded.... and both were put into prisoner of war camp in a section called Stalag 13. There were of course hundreds of stalags throughout Germany. Stalag 13 became quite famous in the mid 1970's ...when an American sitcome was created called Hogan's Heros...which took place in Stalag 13.
