About this scrapbook page:
This page is in honour of my cousin James who took his own life on Father's Day weekend, 2002. His death has impacted my mother's family greatly and he is still missed SO much. All of the words on this page were taken from the Facebook Wall posts from his memorial group - after the 5th and 6th anniversaries of his passing.

I made this page for the challenge because I think it is a very important topic that many people shy away from because of conjuring up such difficult thoughts. But hopefully seeing words like this from his friends years later will help someone else who may be thinking of doing this... to show them that it impacts everyone who loves them - and they are indeed LOVED.

Thank you. What always upset his friends most was he was the type of kid that all of them would go to first if they had a problem - but it seems that he couldn't bring himself to do the same. There was very little 'hint' of what he was planning to do aside from one comment earlier that day to his grandmother (my mom's sister).

What a beautiful tribute page, and a profound loss. It is so hard to understand these things, in one so young, my heart cries every time I hear of this. My prayers are with his family.

Very recently my daughter was touched by the loss of a very good friend in this way.It seems our young have so much to cope with that it all seems to be to hard to live on.I hope anyone contemplating doing this can see by your page just how much those around them truely love them, and that they only have to reach out for help, instead. This is a Beautiful reminder of your cousin
thankyou 4 sharing.

Thank you for sharing James and your story and the love he still has. I can fathom it and the inability to let people who love you know. You are in such a dark place that the grief you cause your family isn't available, only pain. He loved you all and I know you love him, he is still around

What a great tribute page, the words and memories are so powerful. Your James, like my Kelly, gave no one a chance to see what he had in mind except for one small hint to his step-dad. Geeze do you ever quit missing them? Nope and that's why I'm never quiet about the topic of suicide, especially with young people! Thanks for sharing with us...

Wonderful memory page, it makes my heart cry to think a lovely looking young man could take his own life. Also on fathers day. His poor family. Hope he is at peace now.

This was a very moving tribute page, this is a facet of facebook that no one may have envisioned but it's so nice for loved ones to see those messages afterward and know that others are missing and grieving for that loved one too.

It's tragic to lose someone so young with so much of life to live. No one knows what goes on in their minds to get them to that stage. All we can do is watch, listen and give lots of love to those left behind. So that no one else ever gets to that stage again good Lord willing. Beautiful tribute to your cousin. 10+10cp

How sad that one so young would find life not worth living. So sorry for your family's loss. My daughter-in-law's, grandfather, took his life on "Grandparents Day" last year. It has been very hard for that family.
