Miranda has won a few awards in school but this is my favorite one.
Miranda wrote this poem about our cat Cody when she was in first grade and she won first place for it in the district poetry contest.
I have blurred out her information to protect her privacy.

This is so great.It's wonderful when they do well.I remember being so proud when my youngest daughter won a Christmas card comp at the kindergarten when she was 3.It was printed as the official regimental card that year and I've still got one planked in the attic 28 years later.
