About this scrapbook page:
I used the eraser to extract this flaming photo. Sam out of the pool - even a tiny drop of water on his chin. I like it in BW even though I also did one with the original photo.
My baby is growing up and got a certificate from Swim Lodge that he can swim the length of the pool.

I have really come to adore the sketch effect, Mowg. And this page is such an excellent example of why I love it. I just love that drop of water on his chin. I can almost feel it getting ready to drip off and fall to the floor. Love his expression ... love your words ... love how people admire you. I'm glad I had a chance to stop in for a moment and gaze at your talent in action.

I love the photo that you snapped of Sam and he seems so unaware that he has been caught on camera! (Love the droplet) Perhaps he's intent on what his swim instructor is saying? In any case way to go Sam, that's a great achievement! I only learned how to dog paddle in a pinch, never mind swim the length of a pool! You should be so proud of this and I agree, it would be perfect on a wall!

I love this picture. You, like myself, mainly choose to use pictures of your family in your scraps. By doing this we can do whatever we feel we'd like to do with them. I really like what you did with this one of your Sam. I'm going to save it in my favourites, NADIA IN PERTH

He is so handsome and growing up before our eyes ... this is amazing ... the texture and detail is perfect and I am jealous that I don't have a version of Photoshop compatible with Topaz or Akvis. Maybe someday! Spectacular work and I agree with Delsol Jan/Naelle - "Very great piece of art (it could be a cover magazine but don't tell to Sam haha)"

Oh just brilliant - I love everything about this page - the photo itself is wonderful - I know how hard it is to extract with just an eraser when the flippin' magic wand is just not sufficient, especcially when the BG is a similar colour to the bits you want to keep!!!! so very well done on this page - love the B/W effects xx
